Home Care
More and more people now wish to stay in their own homes for as long as possible. With the right care provision that reflects the needs and preferences of the individual, this can become a reality. Our approach to home-care has been developed to provide individuals with a small group of carers aiming to only ever use three carers for one individual. This creates a sense of safety, security, and continuity of care.
Home care delivery involves skilled assistance with many aspects of daily tasks for older people, from personal care and dressing, to shopping and cooking, socialising and companionship.
Personal care
Personal care usually involves a level of physical contact between a carer and client to support and assist with a wide range of everyday personal tasks such as personal hygiene and bathing, medication administration. Personal care can also involve domestic tasks such as house-keeping, or pet care. Home care is needs assessed and delivered according to the needs of the individual.
You will always know who is managing your care needs, and a key care worker will ensure your care planning needs are updated and reviewed so that you are always receiving the care you need when you need it.
