Residential Care
Richmand House is two victorian buildings converted into one residential facility, and where possible many of the original features have been kept to create a home environment whilst thoughtfully installing the necessary adaptions for service users. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, and people are encouraged if they so wish, to furnish bedrooms with their own furniture and personal belongings. A nurse-call system operates throughout, TV ariel points are available in each bedroom, wheelchair friendly access, an extensive garden and sitting areas, communal lounges.
Richmand House offers tranquility, safety and security. A home that reflects the needs of the service user group whilst retaining warmth, and individuality, so that you never feel far from home. We endeavour in our policies, procedure and practices to empower individuals to retain their independence for as long as possible. Care staff are recruited based upon experience, skill, qualifications and competencies. On-going training and development opportunities mean that our care staff are equipped with the necessary knowledge and practices to continuously inform and implement the highest quality of care with service users every step of the way.Our own mini-bus means that a trip or an event frequently occurs, the immediate locality offers a wide range of facilities, cafe bars, tea rooms, a bakery and extensive library.
